همه چیز از مهر 93 شروع شد!
وقتی وارد کلاس شدم، صندلی های ردیف جلو جا نبود و ردیفای آخر نشستم، طولی نکشید که یک مرد با کت و شلوار وارد کلاس ‌شد، نمیدونم شاید خوش شانس بودم که صندلی کنار من خالی بود، سر صحبت را با هم باز کردیم، بنظر آدم با تجربه و جالبی میومد، از اونجا کم کم رفاقت ما شکل گرفت، کلاسا را با هم برمی‌داشتم، پروژه های کلاسی را بهم دیگه بودیم.
گاهی وقتا به شوخی میگفت: سجاد، من تو را توی دانشگاه فالو کردم، فقط بگو چه روزی با چه استادی کلاس برداریم.
هرچی روزا می‌گذشت، بیشتر کنجکاو میشدم، آخه خیلی آدم جالبی بود، پر از ایده های جذاب، کلی کتاب خونده بود و …
آدمی که توی شریف، نرم افزار خونده بود، خیلی راحت می تونست به هر چیزی سیستمی نگاه کنه و فرایند هر اتفاقی را تحلیل کنه.
تقریبا آخرین روزای دانشگاه بود و خورشید غروب کرده بود، سرویس های دانشگاه هم دیگه نبودن.
گفت: سجاد موافقی یکم پیاده بریم و گپ بزنیم؟!
منم با کمال میل قبول کردم.
ناراحت بودم که شاید با تموم شدن دانشگاه از این به بعد کمتر مهندس را می‌بینم.
توی راه، از خودش برام تعریف کرد، این که شغلش چیه؟ چه کاره است؟ کجا کار میکنه؟ سمتش چیه؟ و…
وقتی جلوی در رسیده بودیم باورم نمیشد من توی این همه مدت با یک آدمی دوست بودم، شوخی میکردم که کلی سمت مهم داشته.
توی همون بهت و حیرت بودم که آخر حرفاش گفت، ما توی یک شرکت داریم یک کاری را شروع میکنیم با چندتا از بچه هایی که تقریبا هم سن خودت هستن، اگر دوست داری تو هم بیا!
این پیشنهاد برام اینقدر جالب بود که بدون معطلی قبول کردم.
انگار روزای خوب داشت شروع می شد، از تست کردن صورت های مالی شروع کردم تا روزای آخر که با مهندس از چشم اندازهای سیستم حرف میزدیم.
مهندس به من اعتماد کرده بود، حالا نوبت من بود که خودمو نشون بدم، اون روزا با تمام وجودم تلاش میکردم تا ناامیدش نکنم.
توی روزایی که بیشتر آدما دنبال فریب دادن آدما هستن، همیشه بهم میگفت به اخلاق پای بند باش، میگفت اینجا آدم به درد بخوره کمه ، تو آدم بدرد بخوری باش!
روزای خوبی بود، با هم کلاس و سمینار میرفتیم من هر روز داشتم بیشتر یاد میگرفتم.
حالا دیگه مهندس علاوه بر رفیقم، رئیس و استاد من هم بود.
بلاخره رسیدیم به پایان نامه من، اون روز مهندس با حسین اومدن، استرس داشتم ولی وقتی مهندس بود خیالم راحت بود، اون روز هم گذشت و برامون کلی خاطره شد.
حالا نوبت پایان نامه مهندس بود، گاهی مهندس مثلا با من مشورت می‌کرد، ولی در حقیقت من داشتم باز هم یاد میگرفتم.
روز دفاع مهندس، استرس منم کم نبود.
اره باز هم مهندس مثل همیشه همه را شگفت زده کرد و بهترین بود.
وقتی کم کم داشتیم با هم دیگه کارای فارغ التحصیلی را میکردیم، مهندس بهم گفت که احتمالا … میره.
راستش نمیدونستم خوشحال باشم یا ناراحت، خوشحال بخاطر این که میدونستم با رفتن … احتمالا کلی اتفاق خوب براش میافته، ناراحت بخاطر این که دلم براش تنگ میشه.
گاهی وسط حرفاش میگفت حسین و سجاد مثل بچه های من می‌مونن، راستشو بخوای داشتن آدمی توی روزای سخت زندگی همه جوره حامیت باشه، لذت بخشه.
اون روز وقتی مهندس زنگ زد و می خواست ازم خداحافظی کنه، با این که خیلی وقت بود میدونستم قراره … بره، توی دلم بدجوری خالی شد و ….

این روزا من ترسمو کنار گذاشتم و دارم زبان میخونم، کتاب تحلیل مهندس را میخونم و دارم سعی میکنم پایتون را یاد بگیرم، تا بقول شما آدم بدرد بخوری بشم.
مهندس مهرداد عزیز، رفیق، رئیس، استاد، برادر و پدرمهربانم دلم برات تنگ میشه و بی صبرانه منتظر دیدنت هستم.

در سریال محبوب بازی تاج و تخت (Game of Thrones) در قسمتی که سامول تارلی به همراه گیلی و فرزندش کتابخانه سیتادل را در اولدتاون ترک می‌کند جمله‌ای را با خودش زمزمه می‌کند: خسته شدم از بس موفقیت دیگران را در کتاب‌ها خواندم.

جمله‌ی سامول بسیار تکان‌دهنده و انگیزه‌بخش است به ویژه برای کسانی که می‌خواهند برگی به تاریخ بیفزایند که در مورد خودشان باشد.

داستان “رعنا استوری” از آن داستان‌هایی است که به تنهایی پتانسیل یک کتاب پرفروش، یک فیلم پرمخاطب و یک برنامه‌ی انگیزشی را دارد. وقتی به یاد رعنا استوری و خاستگاه آن می‌افتم بی‌اختیار میخ‌کوب می‌شوم و می‌مانم که چگونه انگیزه و تلاش یک عده بی‌ادعا می‌تواند خلاقیت‌های بزرگی را رقم بزند. من متحیرم از این همه شگفتی!

هنوز در شوک این سخنرانی خانم آنگلا مرکل در دانشگاه هاروارد هستم که چهار روز پیش در 30 می 2019 انجام شده است. لازم است چند بار دیگر آن را گوش کنم.

I was very fortunate because I was raised in a great country where everyone gets a second chance. I owe my country 800 times more than I can ever repay it over these past four decades. That is why I am at the FBI today 32 years after the federal court order expired requiring me to do so. I have turned down three pardons from three sitting presidents of the United States because I do not believe, nor will I ever believe, that a piece of paper will excuse my actions, that only in the end, my actions will.
40 plus years ago, on an undercover assignment in Houston, Texas, I met my wife. When the assignment was over, I broke protocol to tell her who I really was. I didn’t have a dime to my name. But I eventually asked her to marry me. Against the wishes of her parents, she did.
Now, I could sit up here and tell you that I was born again, I saw the light, prison rehabilitated me. But the truth is God gave me a wife. She gave me three beautiful children. She gave me a family. And she changed my life, she and she alone. Everything I have, everything I’ve achieved, who I am today is because of the love of a woman. And the respect three boys have for their father is something I would never ever jeopardize.
There comes a time in all of our lifetime, we grow older. And eventually, if we’re fortunate enough, we have children. And as every parent knows, whether your child’s three months old or 38 years old, when you lay ahead a pillow at night, you’re just about to close your eyes, the last thing you think about, the last thing you worry about are your children. So if you still have your mother, you still have your father, you give them a hug. You give them a kiss. You tell them you love them while you can.
And to those men in the audience, both young and old, I would remind you what it truly is to actually be a man. It has absolutely nothing to do with money, achievements, skills, accomplishments, degrees, professions, positions. A real man loves his wife. A real man is faithful to his wife. And real men, next to God and his country, put his wife and his children as the most important thing in his life.
Steven Spielberg made a wonderful film. But I’ve done nothing greater, nothing more rewarding, nothing more worthwhile, nothing that’s actually brought me more peace, more joy, more happiness, more content in my life than simply being a good husband, a good father, and what I strive to be every day of my life–a great daddy.
